1. Overview

Position++ is a professional GNSS processing and monitoring service available to the operators of reference station networks and to organisations who require independent GNSS data processing. Position++ provides high accuracy, high precision, scientific-grade GNSS processing for any number of reference stations, be they permanently established (such as part of reference station network) or semi-permanent/temporary (such as on a drilling platform or a short term survey control campaign). Standard outputs include reference station coordinates, station velocities, tropospheric delays, receiver clock offsets, observation residuals, station quality measures, and station metadata.

Services

Position++ offers two types of GNSS processing services. Firstly, for those that require continuous monitoring of their reference stations we offer subscription services (on a casual, 1 year, or 3 year basis). Secondly, for those that require ad-hoc processing of their reference stations we offer a campaign based service. All of our services include access to our comprehensive reporting and analysis tools, available through the Position++ web and mobile applications.

2.1 Subscription Based Services

For clients who require continuous monitoring of their reference stations we offer subscription based services. Subscriptions can be purchased on a casual basis, a 1 year term, or a 3 year term. There are two continuous monitoring options available to subscribers:

2.1.1 Daily Monitoring

The daily monitoring option is our premium monitoring service, suitable for any reference station network (or single reference station) where the highest levels of accuracy, precision, and reliability are required (often over long distances). The daily monitoring option provides:

• Unlimited reference stations.
• Daily GNSS observation upload/download from your network.
• Daily processing (position, velocities, tropospheric delays, etc.).
• Daily network baseline changes (builds network geometry for a strong network adjustment).
• Combined weekly solutions.
• Combined monthly solutions.
• Comprehensive, easily customised reports.
• Event Alerting (Email, Twitter, SMS).
• Access to a suite of viewing and analysis tools (web and mobile).
• Post-Processing service (for you and your clients).

2.12 Weekly Monitoring

Our weekly monitoring option is suitable for any reference station network (or single reference station) where regular monitoring at a high level of accuracy, precision, and reliability is required. For applications where daily monitoring is not required our weekly monitoring option provides a cost effective high quality service that includes:

• Unlimited reference stations.
• Weekly GNSS observation upload/download of a single day (e.g. Wednesday) from your network.
• Weekly processing (position, velocities, tropospheric delays, etc.).
• Combined monthly solutions.
• Comprehensive, easily customised reports.
• Event Alerting (Email, Twitter, SMS).
• Access to a suite of viewing and analysis tools (web and mobile).

2.1.3 Campaign Processing Service

For clients who require occasional processing of reference station data, for temporary or permanent reference stations, we offer a campaign based processing service. Each processing request is treated as a separate campaign from a pricing and data management perspective. The campaign processing service provides:

• Unlimited reference stations.
• Campaign based processing (position, velocities, tropospheric delays, etc.).
• Daily network baseline changes (if applicable, based on campaign duration).
• Combined weekly solutions (if applicable, based on campaign duration).
• Combined monthly solutions (if applicable, based on campaign duration).
• Comprehensive, easily customised reports.
• Access to a suite of viewing and analysis tools (web and mobile).

2.2 Complimentary Post Process Service

Clients who purchase a daily monitoring contract (see Section 2.3.1.1) are provided with complimentary access (for themselves and their clients) to Position++’s post processing service. The post processing service allows a user to upload one or more GNSS datasets (e.g. RINEX files) which are processed against the clients own reference stations (in much the same way as other online post-processing services). As with our other services, the processing results are available online and the full range of viewing and analysis tools are available.
